89 Comments in 132 Posts: Some Are Spam

According to the dashboard in the administration page at SquareSpace where I host my Web page I have had a total of 89 comments posted since I started posting. I assume this is right because I am not planning to go back and manually count them up.

The dashboard tells me I have done 132 posts since I started.

This then means I am getting 0.6742 comments per post, or about two thirds of a comment per post. And some of those comments are spam from people trying to sell stuff. For example in the post titled “Ahhhh. That Explains it Then” there is a post from GreenJoann19 and her home web site is w3.lowest-rate-loans.com. Or the comment from Karla31Hensley on the post “Trillian from H2G2: Zooey Deschanel” and this commenter’s web site is also w3.lowest-rate-loans.com.

How friggin pathetic is that?
