Windows 7—Hot’n’Sexy Celebrity Women Theme

Whilst I was away at work Tue, Wed, and Thursday this week I found out about a Windows 7 theme site I did not know about.

I am not one of those people that cycles through desktop themes every week. Quite often it will be many months (four, or five, or more) before I even think about changing my Windows theme. When I am ‘working’ my screen is usually so full of open applications (FireFox, Opera, Word, Excel, Photoshop Elements, and/or Live Writer) that I rarely see my theme wallpaper except for when I first turn the computer on.

Anyway, for anyone interested I thought I would share this Windows 7 site because it has other Windows 7 related stuff as well as the themes. Ctrl+Click on the image at left to open the site’s home page in a new Tab.

To go directly to the section featuring celebrity Windows 7 themes go here. I have not had a good look through these but there themes do seem to be of relative high quality and I noticed themes featuring:

• The new Transformers 3 girl Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
• Brad Pitt and George Clooney (for the girls).
• Three or four Jessica Simpson themes.
• A really nice Taylor Swift theme (thumbnails of wallpapers shown at right).
• Cameron Diaz.
• Jessica Alba (obviously).
• Scarlett Johansson.
• A Green Lantern movie theme.
• Harry Potter movie theme.
• Shrek.
• Terminator 3.
• And many more.

While some of the theme packs are not perfect and the wallpapers in them are not properly sized for 16:10 computer wide screens the overall quality is reasonably good. As a collection of Windows 7 themes I would probably give this site a rating of something like 7.5 out of 10 when it comes to the quality of the images and making sure they fit screen sizes correctly (so they are not pulled out of aspect or are not stretched too much to fit larger resolution screens and become fuzzy as a result).

There is gotcha with this site. Some of the non-‘free’ themes require you to complete a survey before you can download them. Presumably the site makes money somehow as a result of you completing one of these ‘surveys’. At the end of these surveys you will be asked for a valid e-mail address, and some of them will ask for mailing information to send out ‘stuff’ to you. At about this point I cancelled out of getting down the Lord of the Rings theme.
