Cataloguing my Pictures: Bright orange fungus on fallen tree

This was taken in the carpark at the Worsley Alumina Refinery. I was parking my car, and it is a requirement at the refinery that you reverse park. But when I got out of the car and went to open the back door to get my stuff out I noticed this very bright orange colour in the bush behind the carpark. It was like someone was shining a light on it.

I walked into the undergrowth about five meters and spotted this bright orange fungus thriving on the side of a dead fallen tree.

Fortunately it was one of those times I had taken my camera with me, so I got it out and took a couple of snaps of the fungus.

I also like the grey knurly knotted texted of the dead wood and the little sprig of green weeds in the bottom left.
