3 TVs per Household in 2010

According to data charted by the Business Insider “Chart of the Day” team, using data collected by the Nielsen Media Research group, the number of in-use television sets in the average household in the USA will reach or exceed 3 by the end of 2010. This is the average—55 percent of households in the survey have 3 or more televisions in use. This is double the 1.5 in-use televisions per household in the 1975 survey.
