Almost no matter what you are doing on a Windows-based computer if you do a Win+E it will bring up the “My Computer” view of Windows Explorer.
Assuming, obviously, that you are using Windows XP or later.
For those not familiar with the Win key that’s it highlighted in the picture at left.
It is possible, if you are using a really old keyboard, that it does not have a Win key. Should this be the case, then at this point, for the expenditure of about $30, I suggest you consider upgrading your keyboard.
With the way I work I need to bring up Windows Explorer frequently and I find this much faster than using the mouse.
Also, if there is already a copy of Windows Explorer open then Win+E will open a new copy.
