Cataloguing my Pictures: Bright red fungus at Piesse Brook
These pictures were taken in July 2013 using my Pentax K-5.
I was down at Piesse Brook here at Kalamunda walking around and I spotted this bright red fungus growing al along a thin branch of wood that had broken off a nearby tree.
A bit like the previous picture I posted of the bright orange fungus from when I was working at Worsley (here) I just could not resist taking a few close up pictures.
Following are two of the pictures, pretty much exactly as taken. No colour dials have been turned up, no vibrancy added. This fungus really was this red.
