The Goodstuff Effect: Featuring Anne Hathaway

In their 275th issue my link-over friends at Goodstuffs Cyber World referenced a link to my Rule 5 posting featuring Margot Robbie. This kindness has had a massive impact on the traffic to my site—as you can see by the graph at right (or above if you are viewing on a smartphone).

Each issue of Goodstuffs Cyber World features an actress or celebrity. In issue 275 (here) they feature Anne Hathaway.

Just to keep the Anne Hathaway theme going, here are a couple of pictures I managed to dig up and improve—well at least I think I improved them.

As usual with my pictures, click on them to see them bigger if you are using a desktop computer with a larger screen (compared to a smartphone screen).

Rule 5: Margot Robbie

In some blogging circles there are these five rules that need to be applied in order to keep visitors coming to your site. One of the rules is 'Rule 5'. I don't know the exact order or content of rules 1 thru 4 but I am pretty sure there will be something in those rules about making your site look good, keeping your posts short and interesting, posting regularly, and focusing on niche content.

But Rule 5 is about adding something totally different into your blog stream now and then. Broadly interpreted and roughly translated, Rule 5 is about adding some glamour (code for: sex) into your blog now and then as a kind of honey-trap.

So, under Rule 5 here is a little Margot Robbie.

I have 'edited up' each of these pictures to give them a little bit more snap.

A stunning face shot with her wearing her almost trade-mark cherry red lipstick.

Lots of red going on here to set off her red lipstick.

I am not sure, but this looks like it might have been taken before Margot moved off to the USA to become famous.

Stunning picture from 500px—taken by Mark Prinz

Had to post this. This picture is what I refer as a 'scroll stopper'.

This stunning picture is from 500px. The photographer is Mark Prinz. When I did this post there were 157 votes for this picture on 500px.

It is hard to find anything at all wrong with this picture. The model is stunning—which is always a good start. The make-up is faultless, and not too heavy such that it doesn't allow her sexy freckles to show through. Very well done. Big thumbs-up on the make-up.

The facial expression is spot on. 100% spot on. As is the lighting.

The photo-finishing is also just right. Not too much softening so the freckles are still well defined and you can still see skin texture.

Just the right amount of depth-of-field for a full-face shot with the neck just falling out of focus.

And then the eyes. This stunner's eyes are amazing. No doubt in the photo-finishing a little extra sharpening was done on the eyes—as is almost always the case. Even so, this girl's eye are hypnotic. When I look at this picture I cannot help but look into those eyes.

It is well worth checking out Mark's other work at 500px, which you can do here (opens in a new Tab).

Goodstuff Issue 255 Features Fan Bingbing

Issue 255 of Goodstuff (via the Goodshit site) features Chinese actress Fan Bingbing.

Yep. Like me you have probably never heard of her.

As it turns out she is very easy on the eye. I wonder if the movies she is in are all in Chinese? Otherwise one might be tempted to find a couple of them and watch them.

According to WIkipedia she was in XMEN: Days of Future Past and 'Blink'. So I did a search, and sure enough I found Ms. Bingbing in character from XMEN.

The colour purple seems to suit Ms. Bingbing.

If you want to check out issue 255 of Goodstuffs Cyber World then you will find it here.

When you are totally bored and can't find anything else to look through then GoodShit is always an interesting place to go. You can find the link to GoodShit in the sidebar.

One last picture of Fan.

'Goodstuffs Cyber World' features Heather Lockear

The current edition of Goodstuffs Cyber World—which I am sure should be written as Goostuff's Cyber World, but let's not into grammar arguments here because I am sure I make my share of mistakes as well—features Heather Locklear. Each edition of Goodstuffs Cyber World features a different 'once famous, once hot' female from the past.

I actually cannot remember what the TV show was—however, I am sure it was not T.J. Hooker—but I do remember relatively clearly the first time I spotted Miss Locklear on TV. I was standing in the double-doorway of my mum and dad's house just casually looking at their little Sony TV. I was either just entering the room or just leaving; I want to say I was just leaving. This was back when a 22" TV was considered huge, and I think their TV was probably in around 18". It was a Sony Trinitron; then considered a high-end mid-market TV.

When I spotted Heather L on the screen I think it actually did take my breath away. I was probably about 23-ish and to me she was unbelievably beautiful.

Without the benefit of the Internet—which hadn't even been thought about in those days—I then undertook the mission of finding out as much as I could about this vision of beauty. This meant keeping out a sharp eye for magazines and such that promised to reveal more about this stunner.

It is a big shame for the male world in general that the Internet did not exist in those days, otherwise I am sure there would be many more great pictures around now for us to remember Heather by.

For those sad men that missed the era of Heather, here are a few kind-of-okay pictures that I was able to find.

I am reasonably sure this first picture is a grab from a movie. I am somewhat embarrassed to admit that I don't know what the movie is. She must have made it after I had moved on with regards to which female actress I was interested in.

Heather even comes up seriously sexy in grey-scale. Those eyes and that soft beautiful smile.

Due to the grain/noise in this picture I suspect it is a scan of a matt-finish photograph, or possible a scan from a magazine.

In this last picture she is in her early 30s now but still looking amazing. Still has those incredible eyes.
